Raptor birds have beaks made for tearing flesh, not pecking.
Ooo-kay. I have to ponder a lot to understand this poem. Is there a deeper meaning behind? Or is it just about “beak” and “bill” are words for the same thing?
I like that he rhymed correct with pecked.
For a guy who is mostly pictured as a skeptic and a grouse, he writes surprisingly interesting copy.
