The human race is, unfortunately, flawed. Imagine the heights that could be achieved if everyone pulled on the same end of the rope.
Maybe. Or maybe just like the innumerous times that the “end” was predicted by humans living during those times. The “end of the world” fallacy (Malthusian) is ancient.
