It was 90 degrees here today. Not exactly fall weather! I do love the autumn — it’s so beautiful. I love the trees and the falling leaves.

They can’t leaf you alone until you fall…

Still better than winter.

In Minnesota, the seasons are early winter, winer, late winder, and road construction.

Fall starts officially tomorrow morning let’s go!

Both are true. Here in the Inland Empire, It is rainy season and fire season.

I love the fall season. It was beautiful and cool and crisp the last few weeks of August and beginning of September, but now we’ve been having Temps in the 80’s. I’m ready for the coolness of fall.

I love Autumn and Spring, but I really like Winter. There is a cold, grey sky, a fire burning, often in the fireplace, and a cup of good coffee. My writing cat and standby writing cat are in attendance while I bring forth words.

Looks like we lucked out this year: when the heatwave broke mid-August, we went into pleasant conditions for a month or so so far, and we are looking at another month plus of just plain pleasant weather ahead.

We have 12 seasons here in Texas. Summer was followed by false Autumn, followed by 2nd Summer. Real Autumn should start any day now, followed by false Winter, and so on and so on .

Sweater weather. More pockets! Put on your house hoodie (and don’t take it off until the middle of June). Will ‘the kids’ get seasonal sweaters? Some a bit embarrassing?

Can’t wait for next April!

Autumn is my favorite season. Harvest time, crisp air, sunny days because it’s not yet the rainy season, the sunrise/sunset are reasonable times, pretty asters and goldenrod.

Fall is flounder time. Winter black drum, Spring redfish and specs. Shrimping year ’round. Yep, I live on the Gulf (3rd) Coast.

Today is the last full day of summer. Enjoy.

Time to pull on the bunnyhugs. Saskatchewan colloquialism. I don’t live there, but I heard it from a Saskatchaweiner and I like to use it.

Favorite season for me is summer. Followed by spring. Then fall. Not a fan of winter due to having gotten frostbite. But I am out and about every day regardless of the weather and season.

Autumn is the most romantic season.
