We’ve come this far to be an official plugger – leave us alone and let us do our thing, as humorous as I am sure we are to you. We don’t have much time left, so back off dude. We probably enjoy life a lot more than you do. I say that smiling. :-)

Ain’t no point in counting calories. Only a percentage of what you eats is actually going to be absorbed by body. Calories counting is antoher big scam.

Calorie count does not matter if you burn it off by working ;-)

I try to keep my portions small. Unfortunately, my love of good food results in multiple small portions.

It’s important to balance your diet with exercise.

The more you exercise the more you should have in your diet.

It is shocking how accurate this comic is to things I’ve thought to myself or said to my partner haha.

Also a pluggers comic about middle age weight gain without a half dozen confused strangers bragging about how they only eat a single pea a day or whatever? Incredible.

After reading this strip for many years, its main message seems to be: Pluggers are extraordinarily FAT.

Some pluggers just add number of steps and calories together. Easy math.

There about 25,000 steps worth of calories in a pint of ice cream. Either way, your heart won’t take it on a daily basis.

Thank dog I do not work in emergency medicine. I am sure they will see the effects of such a diet tomorrow (Canadian Thanksgiving) and Tuesday.

This is the time of year to eat as much as possible, to get ready for winter.

We have been eating dinner on Tuesday nights at the local Ikea – 50% off entrees on Tuesdays. The plate one gets is meat, carb (mashed potatoes), vegetable (or can have 2 carbs or vegetables. It is a meal, but not an overwhelming meal. We live on a budget and husband has enjoyed eating there for some years – he was glad when their cafe opened again. It seems to both of us that in the past they also had soups which filled in the meal a bit more, but currently they do not – I cannot eat salad or I become ill and he does not like salad.

Tonight he actually commented “maybe since it is half price we should be buying 2 plates each” – meaning it is on the light side. (We did not do so.) But we have been eating this dinner again for some months and neither of us has had a glucose low after doing so or passed out, so it must be enough food even though it does not seem to be.

So what the eye thinks one needs to eat is not necessarily the same as what one actually needs to eat.

God put taste buds on our tongue for a purpose… and He gave us expandable skin… and when we die / rapture, we don’t bring any of it with us. What a deal!
