An aside, when I’m mentoring students for Technology Student Association (TSA) events, I suggest they take a good look at the ones that seem really hard… they’ll have less competition from the other schools.
Shouldn’t the director be assigning roles? And never try to mimic another singer’s vocal style. As far as this being a hard song, that depends mostly on the arrangement and whether it fits your range.
