My granddaughter likes to clip overgrown ivy in my yard. The first time, when I told her she had to pick it all up, she said “why do I have to do all the work?”

I had magic toys when I was a kid. I just left them on the floor, and they put themselves away while I was at school.

Earl is an idiot for not teaching the kid to cleanup after himself. Perhaps he is joking around, and Nelson will do the right thing on his own.

The trouble is that kids don’t see this as a mess to clean up. It’s their toys just like they want them to be, out where they can grab whatever they are into at the moment.
