    Little “Sticky” Fingers.

I think that must have been a peanut butter sandwich that Kate won’t be eating for lunch. I hope there is a cafeteria at the school.

That’s not nice. Kate, don’t you know that raccoons are theives – that is why they have masks on their faces.

Sometimes there are raccoons around my place at night. They feed off of the food I leave out for feral cats. I feel very sorry for them because this is an urban environment, and hard for strays at times :(

Does the X on the bag mean “this was my lunch”?

Raccoons are quick critters and I’ve seen what happened to dogs that chased and caught a 25 or 30 pound raccoon. It wasn’t pretty for either party.

what does one do with a racoon these days? can’t eat ’em. also skinning them to make Daniel Boone hats is a non starter these days, so what??? shoot ’em and leave the corpses to rot?

Raccoons are both predator and prey – they help control small animal populations and feed others. They also eat plants, nuts and seeds so they help to disperse plant life. We don’t need to “do” anything with them.

I spoke with someone at an animal rescue place when I brought in a possum that apparently fell/was tossed out of mom’s pouch. She said they take all sorts of animals but not trash pandas. Too much disease, parasites, and such.

Raccoons are Moochimals. And my backyard moochimals like powdered donuts.
