My favorite Halloween costume as a kid was when my oldest brother helped me become a caveman for Halloween. He cut up a burlap bag, made me a club, and rubbed coal dust all over me, including my hair. My third grade teacher went apoplectic. Little girls were supposed to be princesses or ballerinas. I loved her reaction because she was one of the nastiest people on the face of this Earth.
