Good to know that Sedgie’s bedroom is on an upper floor. It would be a shame if there was an “accident” – like if he “fell” out the window, for instance.

I can think of other “uses” of the rope if he persists

We deride Jarvis, but isn’t this pretty much what we all did at our jobs for thirty years? They rang the bell and you jumped—only to get a paycheck.

Tie the little twerp by his feet to that bell rope. Ding dong!

Whatever Jarvis is being paid, it’s not enough.

Often doesn’t pay to work too hard or do your job too quickly.

Surely Jarvis can find better employment.

The falling part is easy. He needs to practice the getting up part.

They need to hire an amazon warehouse sprinter to get faster response times.

No amount of money is worth this Jarvis.

Kid needs a cage, not a bed.

Our historic church has a bell on a rope. At an old friend’s funeral they asked me to toll it 83 times while he was being interred in his grave. I lost count after about 15 pulls.
