If it’s multiple choice you have at least a 20-25% chance of getting it right. Fellow students used to call them “multiple guess.” I guess that showed who studied and who didn’t.

That’s rude, a starving man would be much happier if you gave him food instead.

Mark all C’s. The most common answer is C on multiple choice tests.

What would a starving man choose on the menu? Steak? Fish? Pasta?

Multiple choice, true and false and matching are the easiest tests the answers are in front of you, fill in the blanks will mean if you really know the answer.

A guy I knew told me that he was once really broke, couldn’t afford food, and was losing weight, so his friends staged an “intervention.” He didn’t mind the intervention, he just wished they brough pizzas.

The only good reason to fail a test is to not know the material. (well, except for rare cases of actual test anxiety)

Something to that. I’ve seen research suggesting that if we’re not able to narrow a selection down to, at most, ten choices, our brains freeze up.

Years ago I tried to buy coffee at the grocery store for a houseguest. I don’t drink the stuff myself and never have it in, and I had no way of knowing which of the dozens of bags on offer would be to my guest’s liking. I stood there staring at the shelf like a moron for a good fifteen minutes. It was actually a very distressing situation.

PP is right, too many choices is like giving a starving man a menu.

These days Patty would be recognized as dyslexic and be taking classes to learn to adapt. I don’t think it’s ADHD.
