Shrek was furious when all the fairy tale creatures were forced onto his swamp

    It was Marsh Madness!

Several common birds of the Hirundinidae family build their nests of mud including cliff swallows, barn swallows, house martins and purple martins. Some use wet mud and some secrete a saliva-like substance to wet it.

Wow, I’ve never seen so few comments on this comic in the afternoon (Eastern time).

Good to know that the birds aren’t trying to build their nests with dry mud.

Does the Martin use its beak to push or carry mud? ugh.

Chris Farley was hired for Shrek originally and had most of his lines done when he passed away. They thought of hiring a sound-a-like to finish it, but decided to go in another direction, which was likely a good choice.
