I like the ones with four wheels and dual brakes, with a fold down seat to sit and rest on. I have one waiting for me when I get to that stage in my life.
Reminds me of my grandfather — he didn’t use a walker but he compared the way he walked to Tim Conway when he was playing the part of an old man, shuffling his feet a little, as fast as he could.
The comments on this one separate the really old Pluggers from the rest of the herd. Having to contend with a walker, or even a family member that needs one gives you a new perspective on life’s challenges.
I am just hoping that the one thing I have inherited from my mom’s side is longevity. In early 70s I have lived to an older age than my dad, 3 grandparents, all 3 of my parents siblings, and a cousin who was much younger than me ever were. Mom is 95. Her dad lived into his 90s.

I walk my dog in a pram. She has back and knee problems. (me-too) I walk and often meet my peers with walkers. I brag that my walker came with a dog.

Why wheels on front two only? Me never see one with wheels.

I ask them to please slow down. For some reason, they never do.

The older I get the less reason I see to hurry

“ c’mon dad”? What is wrong with the kid? Does she want him to fall? You can’t rush old folks.

As long as you’ve got nowhere to go and all day to get there…

No real point being in a hurry all the time. You just get to old age that much sooner.
