The NFL Makes Money. Tons of it.

What could possibly be more important than that?

I don’t gamble, so no need to depend on the officials to “get it right”.

More like the WWFL. I’m believing that it is all fake, like pro wrestling.

I get that everyone on the field makes mistakes, players, refs, etc…. but when a ref makes a blatantly wrong call, it should be reversed, especially what with everything being on film anymore and can be reviewed in slomo…

Officials can ONLY call what they see and for some strange reason that perspective is NEVER shown. We get to see many other angles, using slow motion and freeze frame, all with zoom. Officials have a fraction of a section to make the call, the viewing audience has all day to make the call.

By the same token, officials are making some bad calls, maybe they are a bit gun shy because of all the review cameras, maybe it is because of all of the silly rules that are being constantly added to make the contest “safer” or to improve the contest. Attempts to draw more viewers?

If you do not like the officiating then perhaps YOU should put on the stripes and show us how to properly officiate the contest. Perhaps we all could show the officials the same respect that we want for ourselves.

This is why I have stopped watching sports that have officials, the product(s) SUCKS!!!

That face mask call last night was atrocious. I’m surprised nobody called them out on that.
