Hobbes always has to remember what time Calvin comes home from school, so he can pounce.

And yet, Hobbes is still more successful than Calvin.

Hobbes has a major responsibility—keeping Calvin occupied and out of people’s way. If he was paid for that, his salary would be bigger than the US Debt!

Well it easy being a stuffed tiger who is live only in imagination of one kid.

I remember being jealous of my cat Macushla (pictured) because I had to leave for work while she rested her weary fluff on my bed. Sometimes I wanted to trade places with her.

i just love that Calvin wears that striped tee shirt all the time in order to be like his best buddy Hobbes.

Calvin! That does not sound like you doing your homework!

I have a hard time keeping a “Hobbes grin” off my face when people ask me how retirement is treating me. As Calvin notes: No obligations, assignments, responsibilities, nor deadlines. Yes, I’m quite satisfied with that :0)
