At least flyer-dropping, banner-pulling, or skywriting had entertainment value and novelty going for them. Spam, on the other hand, is just … … spamnable.
I live on the path from the airport to the beach. The pandemic killed the airplane towed banner business and it never really recovered.Someone got a boat with a giant television screen that would cruise the beach with ads, but that is rarely seen.
