NATIONAL NAME YOUR CAR DAY. I always name my cars. But come to think of it, I don’t think I ever named my current car. I’ll have to come up with a good name for my Impala now.
Coffee with a cop will only happen if one knocks on the door in the next couple of hours. And if that happens, there’s no telling what I’ve done. That’s how you keep a secret.
Another scam to keep Chesney busy and out of trouble….oh, wait… I met sweet Pearl Kitty yesterday but it was likely a waste of time. She already promised first choice to a friend if her dogs accept a cat, and was meeting with her last night. I planned my entire day on a 40 mile side trip to meet her at a specific time, seems like she should have been introduced to her friend’s dogs first. Said she will let me know today, not counting on it. I did see quite a bit of beautiful fall color and got an idea of which areas won’t be peaking for another week. Had a simple breakfast at a historic little cafe along the road – $25 with tax and tip!!!
Yet another scam. Forget being millionaires, that money should go toward repairing the warehouse. (Which really needs it.) On another note, saw three juncos, four dragonflies, a wren, two nuthatches, a spotted towhee, and a robin while out walking today.
