Nothing new here, Ed Norton figured this out on The Honeymooners in 1955. He was sleepwalking across building ledges and rooftops while eating a banana. As Ralph said, when Alice told him to be patient with Norton because he’s sick, “Whattaya mean, sick? He never had it so good! He eats, sleeps and exercises all at the same time!”
A while back there was a day that the wifey was scurrying about here and there shopping and such while I sat at home under the weather. We just happened to compare “steps” that night and she was aghast that I had more than she did. Upon further contemplation we realized that petting the animals or waving the arms around was enough to register steps. She gets fifty or so steps at every stoplight now.
