Whereas the era of passing the buck is neverending.

And did that era of ‘passing the torch’ ever lacked of enthusiastic recipients? The idea of “The End Is Nigh” or “Climate Change Is a Heap of Cr@p” have just about the same number of adherents.

I suspect that if my father’s life work was saying that the world was going to end any minute now, I’d grow up not taking his work all that seriously.

Good news, so far all the doomsayers have been wrong about their end of the world predictions. Doesn’t stop them from continuing the grift. There are more than enough rubes to buy their lies about why the world didn’t end, but this new date is a for sure thing. Rubes, so many Rubes.
