Today I was stopped at a traffic light behind a drab bronze Cyber Truck. I think it’s the most butt-ugly car I have ever seen. It’s also the size of a house.
We have a 1990’s F150 for hauling wood, rocks, brick, manure etc. I always thought it a big truck until we pulled up against the new ones out there. Do those new ones have bigger hauling capacity? I’m not comparing it to an F250 or F350 which the farmers around here use, but comparing to the massive cab size of these new trucks the suburbanites around here buy.
my first house (albeit a small one in a nice small town) was $13k… paid $26k for my wife’s van a few years ago, and $37k for my truck (both used). Looking at Realtor dot com, my old house is now valued at $55k. The times they are a changin’!

You’ll have to buy a lot to park it on! There’s always a catch!

Reminds me of a piece Dave Barry did on SUVs when he referred to (an imaginary) vehicle called the Subdivision.
