There must be no mischief to get into that’s interesting.

I’ve been have.

Nice to see Garfield happy on a Monday. And not a drop of coffee to be seen.

He can behave himself, especially on a Monday.

Good Kitty.

When he’s asleep is probably about the only time he does behave

That I can do…I can do that.

Can’t be causing trouble if he’s asleep.

“time for a nap. I’m a cat who loves to snooze”

Not misbehaving isn’t quite the same as behaving. It only takes care of sins of commission.

Cue Jon coming back into the room and telling Garfield that sleeping doesn’t count.

I didn’t believe him until the last panel.

The best thing to do on a Monday.

There’s a nap for that.

No problemo.

There are those for whom that is the only way they can behave properly.

Jon won’t have to second guess what Garfield is up to.

I would rather behave somebody else.

Of course.

Garfield is a master of laziness.

That’s about the only way that he can behave himself.
