I asked my barber for half price because I was mostly bald. He responded that he should charge me double because the hairs were harder to find.
Started buzzing my head myself, saving $20+. Not a big job anymore.
Haven’t been to a barber since the early ’90s. The old Sears clipper and a #5 blade; takes about four minutes.
When I asked why my “big and tall” clothes cost more, they say it’s because of more fabric. When I ask why kids clothes cost more when they have less fabric, they say the amount of fabric doesn’t matter.
OR, you go to the store and spend $15 for the clippers he has in his hand. #4. Done. In YOUR case, you can just use a razor.
Maybe a timer for how long you sit in the chair.
Car wash: same price no matter how dirty. Restaurant: same price even if you don’t eat it all. Manicure. Doctor visit. Piano lesson. And on and on.
