Hahaha! The first panel could have sufficed by itself! The topic reminds me of the two cartoon drawings where in the first panel, it reads “1957” and the parents are yelling to the kid, in front of the teacher, “Explain these grades!” Then in the panel labeled “2017” (or some other year in the twenty-first century), the parents are yelling at the TEACHER “Explain these grades!” with their smug-looking child next to them.
All the Trump-phobic posts remind me of the gossip magazines you once found at ladies’ hairdressers: nobody admitted to read or to buy them, yet they sold MILLIONS of each and every issue. Donald Trump is depicted as the evil itself, kids are afraid of him and you find only millions of sarcastic jokes about him: YET, he was elected POTUS once and is lilely to be voted again. By whom? Millions and millions of GHOSTS, clearly. Half USA citizens are phantoms, bad dreams, hearsays. Indeed?
grandson’s baby-mama got a job pole-dancing. now a school-teacher with a master’s, working on her education doctorate. sharp cookie, her. zero student debt.
I attended the US Air Force Academy for six months. A “free college education” was part of the deal. I was “taught” a year’s worth of chemistry in six months (with no labs). I got 10% on a Calculus final and that was an “A”. We got by on six to seven hours sleep and nobody could flunk out, unless that’s what you wanted on your record. The school was so poorly accredited that very few of my year’s worth of academic credits were tranferable.
Beware the “free education” at a school that grades “on a curve”.
At the University of California, I went to take the next chemistry course, Quantitative Analysis, where you learn to analyze chemicals to parts per million. I did not even know the names of the glassware (no labs, remember). They really thought I was a “genius”. /s
I hate grades. Always have. They’re dumb and purposeless. Do you really think the distinctions they pretend to create are at all real? Almost all of life is pass/fail, and college should be, too. Pass, Fail, and a few “With Distinction” awards tossed in.
It’s why I don’t teach in asynchronous online university courses anymore. Your main contribution is grading assignments, the thing I hate the most.

Those who KNOW t hat’s what they are.
One look at Steve Bannon and you know “garbage” was a grievous understatement
