I took care of my mom the last few years of her life, hospice at home, had family help me, all from California, my brother of course came on weekends and two cousins both of whom were nurses and they stayed 3 more days from their planned two day stay. My mom’s sister flew in from Florida and was with me to the end. Life is precious, be grateful always.
Actually, yes, sharks cannot turn off their brain to sleep. They must constantly keep water moving over their gills to breathe. So they technically shut off only half their brain at a time to keep their body moving. Not unlike politicians in our last election.
I worry about this country after November 5, and how so many stupid people could vote for a convicted felon, liar, bigot, Commie-loving, fraudulent, tax-cheating, traitorous sexual abuser. And look at the people he’s named to his administration. Incompetents, all of them.
He’s turning this country into his own version of Nazi Germany.

“Oh, I hate that!” Really, Sherman? I mean, to turn something off, it has to be turned on to begin with…

Megan, you should take some tips from Sherman. Just take it easy and you’ll get back to sleep in no time.

Also, I would worry more about falling asleep…..when a shark stops moving, they die.

Breakfast is not the most important meal of the day. All I need to get started is about 110 volts.

For a lot of people, breakfast is a major worry.
In college six decades ago we had a textbook called “The Enduring Questions”. They missed out “What’s for supper?”
