I wasn’t behind in the first place, idleness.

I’m really kinda’ struggling here. Back in the early 1960s (before they called it special education), I was “one of those kids.” There was definitely a stigma to it. I sincerely hope teachers and kids are more accepting these days. I think I had Eva Braun for my 3rd Grade teacher. Definitely destroyed what little self-confidence I had in putting up with the “stupid kid.”
