The first commercially available toilet roll appeared in 1857 thanks to Joseph Gayetty who sold “Medicated Paper for the Water Closet” which was sold in packs of 500 sheets. A few decades later the first perforated toilet paper rolls appeared on the market in 1890 thanks to the Scott Paper Company of Philadelphia.

He thought he had to take a big dump but it turned out he just had a little tootin’ comin’

I never did understand why people hoarded TP at the beginning of covid.

Honestly, if you have a sink and a flannel…….

Reminds me of those huge, narrow, single-ply rolls in many public restrooms. What a pain in the (usage of said product).
