Reminds me of this episode that happened at a funeral.
When the obsequies concluded, the digger opened up the coffin and the mourners queued up for a final pass at the remains therein. There was a opened drawer in the lower section of the coffin lid for the mourners to insert some sort of tribute to the deceased. It was understood that this tribute was to be cash or some momento. Things went along and the greenbacks piled up, finally totaling several thousand. The last mourner said, “I’ll match all your gifts, and add a lot more!”
He grabbed up the cash and replaced it with a check for $10,000.
