“Deimatic” pretty much just means “startling”. When you’re doing science, it’s really important to have a jargon nobody else understands.
Please tell me I’m not the only one who looked up “deimatic behavior”?

Good luck with that, kid! I’d skip the “playing dead” part and use the “run like a roadrunner” strategy if the aggressive bluffs don’t work.
