That was very nice of Elizabeth to play with her sister like that. I guess John is still at work. BTW, I wonder what became of that troll who kept calling April a “pe-nis-headed Farley killer”—did GoComics actually DO something about that??

April obviously hasn’t watched all those western movies and TV shows where the rider sometimes gets crushed when his/her horsey collapses.

I have long legs and I’d sit my kids when they were toddlers on my thigh and use my foot to imitate a bucking bronco action that they enjoyed.

April, owning a horse(s) is not all peaches and cream, trust me I know.

that reminds me of one of the first times I gave my niece a pony ride.. it was going great until I forgot about the difference in height for the doorway. WHACK! Poor girl! Thankfully she forgave me, but it did teach me to be more aware, and TO DUCK!

I used to “lose” my daughter during horsey rides. “OMG! where are you?” “I’m behind you, daddy.” (turning around) “Nope, not there!” etc…

Given April’s usual baby talk, I wasn’t expecting her to come out with “Aren’t I?”

Not least of all because it really is a dumb construction. What was so bad about ain’t?
