Will the cat save Earl?

Good-bye Earl!

Cute strip! Was tempted to inquire whether seahorses have any defense. They must, since they’ve been around millions of years.

We all knew that Hawthorne’s priorities are f***ed up. RIP Earl.

Heh. No Earl. Oh well. Nice souvenirs and you got to watch General Tripe on the TV.

I knew that Hawthorne couldn’t save Earl. Should have sent Fillmore instead.

This sets up a future story arc where Earl, the now Avenging Seahorse, returns to seek retribution on Hawthorne for leaving him in the aquarium. Kinda like the drivel Hawthorne was watching when he should have been rescuing Earl in the first place.

Maybe Earl learned a lesson, never insult your rescuer.

I predict we’ll see Earl again, no thanks to Hawthorne.

He must have snuck it out when the cat wasn’t looking.

I’m hoping for a miraculous escape by Earl. Who needs Hawthorn?
