I posted the following late yesterday, and figured it would be a good idea to repeat it early today:

Temporary avatar change: say Hi to Dorian and Scooter!

My kid the Cat Fosterer sent me this pic. Dorian is the gray one :-) and Scooter is orange. Dorian didn’t want to eat his kitten food at first, but now is making up for lost time. Scooter is getting more and more used to humans, and is less likely to run and hide in his safe place. The CF’s roommate checked on the pair today, and said they were curled up together purring. Huzzah!

In other news, after having the cat traps out for a week and catching no cats, we have returned the traps to the kitten rescue. I hope there were only the two of them.

What is Elvis swatting?

And they revert to normal!

Lupin knows exactly how to wake a zombie Elvis. He’s been waiting for his cue. Or stick. Or prodder…

Hello, members of the Orb hive mind— perhaps you can help me with something. A number of years ago, I swear I remember a B.C. Sunday strip following that year’s general election, and it was a Wiley poem talking about how we have chosen the leader, and it’s time to stop fighting and get back to working together as a people, something like that. I have gone back in GoComics to Nov. 2004, and can’t find it. Does anyone remember that, ?

Does anyone remember the old “Point – Counter-point” segment from 60 Minutes? (I mostly remember a Saturday Night Live parody of it … but I digress!) I can just see it the kits on one side and the adults on the other, arguing what did – or didn’t – happen. Elvis would be good doing an Andy Rooney-type segment.

Are we calling it Shouty People Day? I prefer to say I went in and renewed my license to whine and complain about my government. Went smoothly except there were two lines alphabetically by street address and a poll worker had to noodge me into the correct line because I tried to line up alphabetically by my last name. Can I blame that on autocorrupt?!? :)

I was under the impression that Goldie was sleeping with the woman, but I guess looking back (10/03/2024) it’s kind of ambiguous.
