Then they weren’t made correctly. A proper rice cake is quite good actually.

That’s why I stopped eating them.

Might as well eat cardboard.

I brake for cake.

Sometimes taking things literally is disappointing, but especially on food labels . . . at least when the font is large enough to read. Most of the time one has to take it at face value.

They’re slightly improved if you spread frosting on them…

if you like licking frosting off of styrofoam.

But they do have a high amount of sugar.

Sometimes a Clif bar leaves you hanging.

..just as packing peanuts contain no peanuts, and taste the same..

That a cruel thing to do to call them cakes.

A political cartoonist making a joke about rice cakes? What am I missing?

Another childhood dream shattered.

The caramel, cheddar and the apple and cinnamon ones aren’t too bad! Might even say delicious!
