Every year the two geese that uses to chase away all the other geese from my pond would show off and parade their little brood of 3 to 5 adorable little chicks that would all get eaten by the catfish, large mouth bass, foxes, coyotes, hawks, and owls within 3 weeks around my pond.
They finally got too old to hold their turf, and now the next generation has started to make their nests on roofs to protect their eggs from predators. Hadn’t seen what happens after they hatch yet, but I’ve not seen as many fluffy chicks running around.

I read that geese p**p in flight frequently, so a large “V” of geese overhead constitutes carpet bombing
