I’m proud to say I have a friend who is also a Veteran. We keep in touch often and chat about life.

Also special thanks to all those brave canine soldiers who risk life an limb while performing heroic duties such as explosive detection, patrolling, search and rescue, subduing the enemy, and guarding sites such as military checkpoints, ammunition depots, and military compounds.

Thanks to all who serve.

Awww … Snow has friends in high places.

Daddy (RIP) was career USAF after serving a few years in the Navy.

Would that be a carrier pigeon up above? They have quite a history. Won’t post any URLs, but look up Cher Ami, a carrier pigeon from World War I and the Lost Battalion. 8)

This may be the most special remembrance I’ve ever seen. Ms T and Snow couldn’t have said it better.

My Dad retired from the Marine Corps after 20 years. My husband served in the Army Reserves for 15 years.

My dad (RIP) was in non-combat service in the Marines in the 1950s.

Numerous pigeons did serve. A veteran who did help General Pershing chase Poncho Via and during WWI told about them also.

Oh Snow, you always know exactly what to do & say, you & Ms T are my hero’s!
