    At least birds fly to and from their nests. If he had squirrel nests, they’d be digging their sharp claws into his bark every day.

    We have squirrel nests in out trees. The birds nests tend to be blown out, or fall apart after a few of our heavier pre-winter rains. IF we get them, it’s been a rather dry year.
