>sigh<. This figure skater knows that hockey always trumps figure skating at rinks. Hockey brings in more revenue. I hate following hockey practice. The Zam always leaves ruts behind. Dangerous and harder to skate on.

I don’t know if this has been asked, but who’s in the right? Patty was there first, but at the same time it seems selfish for one person to be using the ice when ten could be using it.

Our home town skating rink (city park lawn flooded) had 1/3 roped off for the hockey players – worked out well for all…

There’s a pond about 6 miles from my house which is suitable for skating if you can get a real winter going. In past years, I’ve seen a group of boys shoveling the snow off the top. They left a snow barrier, and the girls would skate on one side of the barrier, while the boys would play hockey on the other side. Seems like a good compromise.

I’m imagining this kid’s father patronizingly calls all women “sweetheart”, “beautiful” and “babydoll” and he’s just parroting his dad. No actual thought process of noticing any beauty. Although Patty’s legs are noteworthy…

If hockey players are supposed to grow up to be goons,these kids are off to a flying start.

And you’re not a hockey player unless you’re missing a few teeth,so maybe Peppermint can help them along a little

watched a great movie last night on bullying—called “teacher” really good- sadly bullying does exist in schools and very little is being done about it

IMHO, it’s those kids, now adults (?), who have been nominated to the upcoming presidential cabinet positions.

If this were a true democracy, the majority, in this case the 10 wanna-be hockey players, would out-vote the 1 figure skater. Fairness, the fact that she was there first, etc would mean nothing.
