Thanks to Chesney, little Oliver is cozy warm on this brisk day. Big storm coming to the mountains this weekend , taking possibly one last high elevation hike this morning before the roads to the trailheads close for the season. Forecast is a high of 30, but sunny and no wind, perfect for me…

Some people believe that while turkey wasn’t on the table at the first Thanksgiving, rabbit (technically hare) was.

That’s a nice bunny costume, Oliver but maybe a pilgrim costume or a turkey costume would be more suitable. Glad that Ten Cats is back today. On another note, saw a chipmunk, three nuthatches, a raven, six chickadees, and a varied thrush while out walking today.
