Death isn’t what he’s cracked up to be.

So, the GR is stoned, Medusa is out of sight (thank goodness), and cash is out of the question because…why?

Grim just has a hard time gaming. I fondly remember Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey where they challenge him to Monopoly, Clue, and Twister and he loses every time. (“They melvined me.”)

These guys play a mean game of chess!

Because she doesn’t like cold hard cash?

The kid in the robe is Merlin. He was born in the future and grows older as he goes into the past. He knows our future and seeing that he appears about five years old, we may not have very long to go.

I see that when Merlin makes that move, the Reaper has a lot more pieces left on the board than he does.

It’s no wonder Merlin became such a great wizard. Or maybe just a broke one.

Merlin’s age reflects the idea that the end of the world (at least as we know it) is in 2012. At least that is what certain prophecies seem to say.

Personally, I’m looking forward to the Rapture. Once all the republicans, flat-earthers, snake-cuddlers and nut cases have ascended to the mother ship, the rest of us will have a paradise on Earth.

The three Gorgon sisters were daughters of ancient Sea Gods, Ceto and Phorcys. Two, Stheno and Eluryah were immortal, but the third, Medusa was not. She had been a female of absolute beauty, mostly her long, silky hair. She bragged at being more beautiful than the Goddess Athena, and one day, while in her temple, she was ravished by the Sea God Neptune. Athena was outraged by this and turned Medusa into the Gorgon she became famous for being. She turned her beautiful hair into snakes and let it be that she could no longer see the handsome men who came to court her, as they would instantly be turned to stone if they looked into her eyes.

Perseus, in trying to rescue his mother Danae from King Polydectes, was challenged to retrieve the head of Medusa. He was able to do so with the help of Athena and Hermes. Perseus was given a shield of reflection and a curved sword to remove her head. The blood of a Gorgon was said to be all powerful. It could be a lethal poison or hold magical powers, as it was used to grant Erichthonius the power to reanimate the dead. When Medusa was dying, she sprang forth from her blood the winged horse Pegasus and the giant Chrysaor, who later became the King of Iberia. While fleeing the other two Gorgons, Perseus used the helmet of Hermes which made him invisible and allowed him to escape unharmed.

Don’t you just hate it when someone SNAKES up on you?!

The world only ends in 2012 (well, resets and starts over) if Monica and her friends don’t figure out how to stop the Calendar Machine from resetting.

Cash needs to be spent in person, not so easy to do if the sales clerk turns to stone.

Doesn’t killing Death like put a tare in the space/time continuum?
