See, listening to Verne’s explanation causes time to slow down so much that Santa can easily get to every address in one night. As long as Santa and his reindeer don’t listen to Verne, that is.
Santa does polar orbits, following the line between night and day. he starts with the earliest time zone, and moves west. Meanwhile, the Penguins at the south pole stock sleigh number two. Santa hits the south pole, changes into sleigh number two, and loops back up to the north pole. There, he jumps into sleigh number three, which has been loaded up by the elves, and continues his journey.
The problem I have with a lot of “science” is that it’s theory. It may look good on paper, but it’s just a theory that is unprovable. The math says it’s true, but nothing says the math is right.

Lots of people believe in Magic, they’ve even written songs about it:
“Do you believe in magic in a young girl’s heart?
How the music can free her, whenever it starts
And it’s magic, if the music is groovy
It makes you feel happy like an old-time movie
I’ll tell you about the magic, and it’ll free your soul
But it’s like trying to tell a stranger ‘bout rock and roll" – Lovin’ Spoonful, 1965

any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic (for a lot of people these days, pencils are magic)

not every culture shares presents on Christmas Eve. The Western Union site is pretty nice, explaining when gifts are exchanged.

Wow, Verne…way to suck the magic out of believing in Santa.

Any signficantly advanced gibberish can be replaced by the word “magic”.

He’s a Time Lord and the sleigh is his Tardis. It’s bigger on the inside which means it can hold all those millions of toys.
