But he seems to like sitting on the couch watching tv, so its probably not going to happen. I started doing woodworking 35 years ago, the first couple of years I basically made sawdust, as I learned.
Go to an antique store or second hand store. Good quality furniture is going for next to nothing as the newer generations have no use for heavy furniture.
