He is probably frozen stiff out there

Amazing and hilarious?

If the legend of Santa Claus had originated in the 21st century, he would be a muscular old man with a trimmed white beard.

Norm probably had his jingle bells frozen off

As it is, the version of Santa Claus that is recognized around the world is strictly an American invention.

In 1822 the American writer, Clement Clarke Moore, described Santa / St Niccholas in his poem “A Visit From Saint Nicholas”. In the same poem he invented and named the team of 8 magical, flying reindeer.

In 1880 the American cartoonist Thomas Nast, created the image of Santa in a red suit

And in the 1920s the Coca-Cola company, in an advertising effort to make the product seem more child friendly, created ths cheerful Santa we know today

Good job training for Norm. It’s something he can handle without much problem.

Finally found a use for him

Bob, tell him you’ve earned the popcorn garland as wages
