If the water skier is part alligator, he can just sit there and wait for the pond to thaw.

No intelligent person would ever call climate change a “hoax”, of course, but plenty of imbeciles (and a few lunatics) do. Please don’t feed the trolls who will be popping up to demonstrate their massive ignorance pretty soon.

Appears to be a flash freeze that surprised most of the people, but it looks like Mr. Nostradamus ice skater there was ready for it. How did he know?

I assume he was tossed in just to show it’s suppose to be ice and not snow. Adding reflections on the ice and a bluer color than the surrounding snow would have solved that problem better than adding the questionable skater.

Then the coal company came with the world’s largest shovel

And they tortured the timber and stripped all the land

Well, they dug for their coal till the land was forsaken

Then they wrote it all down as the progress of man.

Do I believe that human atmosphere pollution has exacerbated the dramatic shift in weather patterns? Yes!

Do I believe that mankind is responsible for the rise in global temperatures and pollution of our air and water? Yes!

Do I think that the human race will admit their man-made mess, responsibly face the problem, and unitedly work for a solution? Not bloody likely!!

Someone should tell the cartoonist that weather and climate are two entirely different things. Climate is what you expect. Weather is what you get.

Climate change is a hoax. Proof is that scientists don’t agree. They don’t agree on exactly HOW bad it is (Like will Florida be completely under water in 50 years or 100 years), but that’s enough evidence for doubters.

or just realize the climate is governed by earth’s orbit, tilt, and axis in relation to the sun which accounts for winter, spring, summer, and autumn on a routine basis? Or stay in your psychotic bubble and remember and celebrate the previous dire earth catastrophic warnings from the ‘70s, ’80’s, and ’90s that never came to fruition…

Montana weather was historically very similar. Along the East slopes of the Rockies could be 40 in the morning and minus 30 in the afternoon after and arctic front moves through. Worked days when severe thunderstorm warnings were issued for the eastern plains and winter storm warnings were out for the western third of Montana.

For the benefit of people who, this deep into the 21st Century, still don’t understand the difference between weather and climate, here’s the deal:

     • Weather is short-term; climate is long-term.

     • Weather is individual measurements; climate is average measurements.

     • Weather is what you get; climate is what you expect.

     • Weather is umbrellas; climate is ice ages.

     • Weather is a limerick; climate is The Odyssey.

     • Weather is the city council; climate is the United Nations.

     • Weather is 3 minutes on TV; climate is doctoral dissertations.

     • Weather comes and goes; climate just keeps on coming.

     • Weather change kills off individual plants and animals; climate change kills off entire species.

     • Weather is Angry Birds; climate is The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire.

Any American adult who doesn’t understand this by now must be:

    1) a social promotion from a special-ed class.

    2) working for a fossil-fuel company and whose salary depends on the public not wising up during her or his lifetime.

    3) deliberately disingenuous.

    4) a religious fanatic who buys into the 2000-year-old lie that their favorite dead guy is due back tomoro, having disappointed a hundred previous generations of True Believers because he’s been waiting especially for YOU to be around when it happens, because that’s how important YOU are!

These categories are not mutually exclusive.

Is the climate changing? Yes, but it has always been changing. Can the U.S. stop it by taxes, ending use of natural gas, EV mandates, etc? No, if we agree that mankind has an effect on climate then we need countries such as China and India who both have been using more coal every year to get on-board as well. Weather you believe in global warming or not, its funny how many record temperatures were a 100 or more years old before they were broken.
