Charlie Brown looks as Snoopy as he walks down the lane wearing a plaid dog-coat. He exclaims, "Boy! What a gaudy outfit!!"<BR><BR> Schroeder arrives to see Snoopy walking along glowering and Charlie Brown shouting after him. The latter says, "I wouldn't be seen at a dogfight with such an outfit!"<BR><BR> Schroeder says to a smiling Charlie Brown, "You never should have said that..."<BR><BR> As they walk pass the fence, he concludes, "He was on his way to a dogfight!"<BR><BR>

Snoopy thought it was an insult because he’s on his way to a dog fight.
