Lucy and Linus walk along. Lucy carries croquet mallets, and Linus carries the stakes and the balls, along with his blanket.<br> <br> They drop the equipment on the grass.<br> <br> "I'll put up the wickets, Linus, and you pound in the stakes..okay?" Lucy asks as she kneels on the ground. "Fine..I always like to tackle a man's job!" he asserts.<br> <br> We hear WHAP WHAT WHAPPITY WHAP as Lucy sticks the wickets into the ground.<br> <br> We hear POW POW POW as Lucy walks to set up another wicket.<br> <br> We hear: "OH, GOOD GRIEF!" Lucy starts as she places a wicket in the ground.<br> <br> "?" Lucy walks over...<br> <br> Lucy looks at Linus, who stands next to a pounded-in stake, which holds down his blanket. He sucks his thumb and holds the other end of his blanket. A mallet lies on the ground in front of him.<br> <br>

I love how when things go wrong, he just stands there, holding his blanket and sucking his thumb, and tries to ignore the problem entirely.
