Glad to come over to the 2nd!I was going to suggest it last night, but as I’m rather an irregular in the Village, I didn’t want to be presumptuous.Number Six usually declares a move….but he’s had a lot on his plate. When I have to access the comics on my phone, a page with 200 to 300 comments is very difficult to load…yet another reason not to visit sometimes. Anyway, I’ve wondered why we stay on one date so long ….. May 1st has 300 comments over a 1 month period. That’s an average 10 a day…. Changing pages about every 60 comments we’d have been on May 5th or 6th by now….still years before we get to 2007….and we could never catch up with the “current” forum anyway.Would Village “old-timers” who haven’t been here much have a hard time finding it if it moved more?Or is it hard for some to change their bookmarks?Just wondering…. I’m still a newbie here in a way, so please forgive me if it’s been discussed and I missed it in reading old pages.
I was just asking, about the more frequent moves…. I don’t feel like my vote should count for as much as those of you who’ve been making this their “home” far longer than I…I’d like to hear what No Six thinks, since he started all this…Do you like the longer pages, 6?
BTW I have no speakers right now… so a lot of links are lost on me… :(
I think my ancient speakers were what was crashing my computer.
@*Beviek* …. I did check “yesterday” before coming here, to see if anyone didn’t notice the move, so I read your comments there. And yes, good memory… I’ve jut started working again at the Wednesday Night Market, which runs sometime in May through sometime in August.
Usually only an hour to two or three….but I also bring home made food for the guy running in the booth, and his helper.I get paid in produce, not money… but as the summer tomatoes ripen, it’s LOTS of produce.I can eat more tomatoes than anybody I know...NOT the ones you can buy at a store. The ones I take home every week, sometimes a dozen pounds of them, are just like home grown…BETTER than mine, when we have a cold foggy summer like last year.I have to grow mine in pots, and I don’t get direct sun for enough hours, so my yield is low per plant.
…. But I just put in 26 plants yesterday, and will probably add a few more.“With a little bit of luck”…. they’ll start ripening late in August. Yay!

I also miss Lady of Shades. I HOPE HOPE HOPE she will come back soon.
Pcolli gave us the definition of ‘chara’ on yesterday’s Andy Capp. I’m not very good with old English.

Wow. Thank you so much for the link, Eldo. I really enjoyed that song so that’s 3 I have heard now.
I have talked to many people on here and have often asked who their favourite singers were and Frank Sinatra was always in the list.
Now I can see (or hear) why.

Wow, Thank you for putting that up, Eldo.
‘Golden Bisquits’ that’s a cool name for an album cover.
Thank you again and I hope you’re doing good!
