Oh yes, the good ol’ 80s, when the crooks in Congress had inhabited the revered dome of DC for three decades instead of one term and, hand in hand with the Reagan administration, laid the groundwork for the offshoring of jobs. God, I miss those days. There was a scent of economic dismemberment in the air, creative destruction.(And I want a Bill the Cat lamp, too.)
Ahh 1984 How I remember those days.. When we were invading any thing that looked crossed eyed at the US. yes we were showing the world that Vietnam was ancient history.
But hey a Marine Lt Col. Actually setting foreign policy? No way one might say. But tis true cause Lt.Col. Ollie North said so.. The Congress said no way..
Awww shucks guys I was only kidding.. I lied. But never will he ever tell just what he lied about.
That is ok.. People living on the streets was just the economy. After all they deserved to be there.. Right?
Yes, 1984 what a great year it was for the rich… Not so much for the middle class or small foreign countries that didn’t have much in the way of a military.
Wish the republicans would quit try to make former president into some sort of conservative saint.

Most people in 2012 have trouble enough keeping up with current events. How will they ever be able to figure out the players in 1984?
