That makes this strip about 7 years old. Jimmie was born June 25, 1947 (age 62). Let’s see… yep, if you magnify the strip you can see the copyright date is 2002.

Wow. Caesar missed the birthday by well over a week. Which is a good excuse for getting all that excited about it, which is a helpful accent to tweaking Huey about lame “culture” milestones.
So now we know the strip is running 7 years and 7 months after being drawn (give or take a couple days for varying month lengths).
