Granddad: I ain't spendin' all that money on a new PlayStation! Riley: We don't want no used PlayStation! Granddad: What's wrong with used?! It was used when I broke it.

Granddad is so behind the times. It’s now referred to as “refurbished” not “used.”

They’re only refurbished bought from a reseller, or manufacturer. If you buy from your neighbor, it’s used. Refurbished implies something was done to it to make it better than it was.
