Granddad: Huey, will you say grace, please? Huey: Sure. To whatever higher power might be listening, please forgive my brother for stealing this food, forgive my usually righteous granddad for overlooking this transgression, and forgive them both as they are about to poison their bodies with swine. Oh, and thanks for the veggies. Peace.

I’ve never been big on ham. Pork chops, bacon, ribs? Great, but ham to me is… meh.
Grandad is burning a hole through Huey’s afro with that stare.

I eat more poultry than beef and pork. I don’t eat hamburgers, I use ground pork for my hamburger meat and sometimes ground turkey too.

I do not have a religious or moral objection to eating swine…. I simply have a dislike of eating swine and have not done so in probably the last 7-8 years. Not eating cow has been a bit longer than that…. 9 years. I kind of gradually pulled away from eating swine or cow…. and in effect no longer eat much meat. I probably eat turkey, chicken, or fish perhaps twice a week, and that is all the meat I eat.
