Hey Marg thanks for the bagels and donuts (I should avoid the coffee as I am going to bed soon.) An early hi to everyone else too.

Good morning. Tabby’s storm hit us late last night, so I’m still trying to wake up. Got time to read a few comics before I have to get ready for work. See you all when I get home.

Thanks DrT. It’s not the being late that worries me, it’s dealing with the traffic on the way to work. It’s worth getting up earlier just to not have to deal with that in the mornings. Though I did read a little more than I usually do this morning - but I better be on my way.

So that’t why is’s raining in PA? Thanks ladies for sending the rain our way!

Good Morning, Marg, Thanks for the coffee and snacks. I got a busy day today too. This is a chemo week for me :( Today I will be at chemo pretty much all day. When I’m done there, they will hook me up to the chemo pump (in a fanny pack) that I will have until Wednesday :( So please send some happy thoughts my way. I’ll check back before I leave for the evil place. I’m going to read other comics. Funny comic today, Marsing!

Good luck carmy & I will send you some happy thoughts. Think positive & happy thoughts. just got back from the grocery store bought some Vanilla ice cream to put it in my coffee thanks for the tip carmy. I also bought this chocolate, mocha spread from the deli counter, I couldn’t make out the price but at the register I learned it was over $10. HOLY Here’s a tip for everyone.”Don’t buy anything from the deli until you are absolutely sure about the price otherwise you might go broke” anywho you all are welcome to help yourselves.

More likely using the landers support leg in lieu of a Martian tree. Yeah DF, they didn’t leave us anything, guess we are too late for breakfast. I brought some migas, salsa and tortillas to roll your own, and am happy to share. Hang in there Carmy and God bless.

Good day to all hello everyone, how are you all doing today? hope you all had a wonderful monday so far. mine was fun and i enjoyed being back at school. Yes i like school im a nerd and proud of it. lol

Marg she is so cute but looks can lie. lol i love her even when she is bad and cant stay mad at a face like that. my braces are doing better, still have trouble eatting stuff. just had some potatoes so im eatting. i was woried i wouldn’t fit in my prom dress that it would be to small, now im worried it will be to big. lol

Carmy you are in my prayers. i hope it is not to bad. Good thoughts and lots of prayers going your way.

It is raining here too, Dry. Rained all of yesterday, and will probably rain tomorrow, which isn’t cool, because it will cancel my softball game for the second week in a row :( tabby just because you like school doesn’t make you a nerd, I hate school, yet am still probably more a nerd than not.

johnnydoc5 i forgot to mention that i also have a fav. statue. so my teachers call me a nerd. heck if i am then im proud of it. i love school and cant waite to become a teacher. i love to read and learn. im strange but heck proud to be me, i am who i am and if they dont like it then to bad. not to any of you nice lovely people on here just saying.

WOW! Thank you All for the happy thoughts. They sure helped. They had the TV on in the chemo room and I watched some of “The Undefeated” with John Wayne and all of “The Hellfighters”. i have just been bobparded by kids they all piled in at once. and aked for popcorn.i cant even have popcorn and its my favorit/fav food. so sad. they are being silly and Ana has an imaganairy frined now HIS name is jimmy. not happy about it being a boy but i cant help it.

okay, so nobody laugh, but i just found out something. when you have braces, never ever eat something very hot (steam wise). it will burn your mouth and cheeks very bad.

Okay, Tabby is the youngest at 19, and Johnnydoc is 20. Carmy and DocT are the same age, JFri is 52, and Dry is 55. I’m going to be 62 in one month, and Joy is 77. We have a nice variety here. :-)

Dry, It’s 47 for me and Doc. Tabby, That is a very nice photo of you and Ana. You don’t have to take it down, lots of people use photos of themselves as avatars. Akenta, Thanks, I’ve been sent so many happy thoughts, etc they will last over to Thursday. That’s when I will be done with chemo week. Doc, My bday is August 7th. Yours?

My year is 52!

JFir, if 52 is when you were born, you’re a year older than me. If52 is your age you are younger than me! :-) Okay let’s fire up the grill before “”24”” and “Csi:Miami” get started here on teh east coast! I’m starving people!

Okay so guys, i love you all so much and all of that. so when i read this, i had to share it with you all. enjoy it.

The mimister“s five-year-old son had been watching the men fix the road outside their house for some time, and finally came into the kitchen about lunch time and said to his mother “Mummy, could I have a jam sandwich for lunch, please?” “Well, you“ve never wanted that before. Are you sure?” She replied. “Yes. Please, mummy, and wrap it in greaseproof paper, and put it in a brown paper bag, please.” She did, and watched him walk to the gutter and sit down. Slipping out the front door, she was in time to see him open the bag, tear away the wrapping, take out the sandwich, open it up, look inside, and say in a loud, angry voice, “Bloody jam again!”

Dry yeah but I refuse to grow up I try to stay in semi-shape, but mountain bike mostly downhill these days. Still kayaking and hiking when I can, though. Never could run/jog cause it pounded the knees too hard so I became a skater and a hockey player. Hockey isn’t nearly what it used to be, either!

tabby don’t let your brother having all these girlfriends upset you. So you have had 2 boyfriends so far. SO WHAT? If you have dreams, follow them! Don’t worry about having a boyfriend! Read my post from the ohter night and you may understand what I’m saying! :-)

So tabby I have never had a girlfriend. No worries, it happens when it happens, if it doesn’t happen, that is fine too. Besides, I don’t want kids… for now, that may change, but at least now I don’t have to worry about it.

From the earlier post, I guess it is ok if the teacher is your friend. Usually names don’t bother me, but I am quick to defend myself and my friends when the need arises.

Would also like to note that hot (not spicy) food burns my cheeks and tongue too, and I don’t have braces.

Guessing Game: Ok, I guess that Doct and Dry have dark hair. I guess that Doc has a medium frame. Carmy has dark hair (we won’t count the chemo), and Joy’s hair is grey. Johnnydoc5 has light brown or blond hair. Akenta, no guess, and Rad brown hair. Hmm, I picture everyone with dark hair except our two youngest members.

My hair is blonde with light grey highlights. I’m 5’6”, with dark blue eyes. Like JFri, I hike kayak, and bike ride. No running or jogging, too hard on the joints.

Marg, I do have lots of dark hair. I’ve only lost a bit of my thick TexMex hair from the chemo meds I get. I’m 5’5” brown eyes. About all I can do is walk for exercise. Yardwork too, but not during chemo week.

Carmy you didn’t guess my hair color! I am, and have been for 20 years, silver-gray haired. Was born a blond and it darkened a little before going gray. Eyes are green, and if I quit drinking coffee tomorrow I might not be a midget my whole life! I was 6’ 5” but have settled back to 6’ 4” tall (NO FREAKIN” MIATAS FOR ME!!!!)

AAAAAARRRRRRRR, where ye all bin hidin’ that thar Joy? Me thinks she be avoidin’ me after that last little mishap! I fired a volley of cannonfire over her house but she never showed herself! I be post #99. 99 bottles of rum on the wall……

Scurvy pirate, Joy is for kids!?? That doesn’t sound quite right somehow, yet…from the mouths of pirates!

Marg, I can’t wait to see how you did on the rest of your guessing game. I’m going sleepers now, so I’ll check on that tomorrow. BTW, usually people that get chemo meds for breast or lung cancer lose all their hair. I have colon cancer that is secondary to my liver. That is why I have to do chemo. I had a major operation in Jan ‘07 that took care of the primary cancer and left me with a foot long vertical scar. Once when I walked into the chemo room, a woman with no hair said very loudly “Why does she still have hair!” I felt really bad and I did not know what to say. My chemo nurse calmly explained the reason why to her. JFri, I think you got Marg and me mixed up. Marg is doing the guessing. Goodnight Everyone!

marg my hair was dark, brown kind of chestnut, but the greys are movin’ in REAL FAST, and I never bothered to color it, wash it every night, didn’t see any point in coloring it because of that. Also didn’t like to use chemicals on my head! I’m 5’ 4 1/2” with green eyes. I think I may post a pic here real soon. Not a great shot, but not bad either! Oh and I weigh about 139#!

marg, JFri and everybody else, I’ll bet if we could all see each other, it’s nothing like in our minds! I pictured you, marg, as a red head! I picture Joy with light red hair, pictured Tabby as a yellow blonde, JFri, dark hair, carmy as a blonde and on and on!! :-D

Marg sorry for the confusion on my answer…long day today. Drove 6 hours to get to a trade show site, set up the booth, picked up a factory rep at the airport and now I’m trying to do this on a motel network! I haven’t been in the rum….HONEST!!!
