I actually met Jeff Smith at the Pike Place Market. He had a church near the market in Seattle. Yes, I liked his show too. Never would have guessed the other stuff.
Howdy MoPar. Since hanging out with you guys, I have started missing not having TV. I love football and would like to be sharing the action with you all. But, when we went to Virginia and I suddenly had TV to watch, after being away from it for so long, the commercials were even more aggravating than I remembered. Way to many and way to often. The good thing is we were able to watch Ken Burns documentary on the National Parks.
Doc - I guess that you are not referring to wildcheetah when you are talking about your laptop. I figure that you are pretty familiar with her by now. snerk
I’ve left some krispy kreams on the buffet table. Enjoy.
I’m also withdrawing some Karma from the bank. I am taking some jewelry in to sell for the gold in them. Sigh gotta pay car insurance somehow, someway. Not to mention everyone else. But like Dave Ramsey says: Shelter, Utilities, Food, Transportation…..then everyone else.
But at least I have a job. My spouse is still looking. They gave him a 13 week extension 6 weeks ago, but before you could say hey howdy the monies stopped. El Presidente has extended my state for the additional 14 weeks as well, but my spouse’s stops. Some days you just can’t win…..
Ahh, we’re happy for ya Petey! It’s always good to hear that first “yes”…and the subsequent ones as well. Mid-50s and cloudy but nothing dropping from the sky right now. Hopefully it will stay that way long enough to accomplish a few things.
Mmmm, thanks for the recipe celecca. I’ll have a cup with one of JPS’s grilled cheese sammiches! Nice brunch on a cool, gray day.
(((((Mr. & Mrs. MoParMitch))))
Peace, strength, and positive energy coming your way!
Good morning all!
Looks to be a nice day here, too bad it will be overshadowed by Michigan getting their tails handed to them today. I think Wisconsin remembers last year…
good luck Terry on your pool match! hope it goes well. missed last night, because i had to get up early and go to work this morning (inventory) but it went smoothly and i’m back for a while now. Hi, also, to Dry, johnny, DocT, &dcguys.
dcguys thanked Dry for “looking glass” last night. if it’s Brandy (You’re a Fine Girl) it’s one of my faves as well. If it isn’t, reference the quote from Emily Litella. *dc* also mentioned it was mid fifties and cloudy, and my first thought was that it sounded a lot like me.
almost forgot i wanted to send along special hugs for Quaby & spouse and for Mrs. MoPar for their respective job searches. in my experience, the only thing worse than having a job to gripe about is NOT having one to gripe about. best of luck to you all.
(((Quaby & family))) & (((Mrs. MoPar)))
i’m popping back and forth while i check the toons out.
a note to Dry. i heard on the radio, while i drove home, that PSU was trailing and the first thought that went through my head was, “That oughta make Dry happy.”
and Cleo (if you’re still around, or when you get back) i was watching that same series on the National Parks on PBS. I especially liked the part of it where they described Grand Canyon, Zion and the other one in Southern Utah whose name escapes me for the moment. My next longer vacation is planned to be to Canada’s Maritimes but, having seen that show, a trip to those three is now on my “bucket list” as well.
the photos are posted on picassa 3 with public access allowed. if you need my name or email to link to it (i don’t know how it works, exactly, i only posted them) Terry can provide you with my email address and the name is on my “album” which is called “Finger Lakes Trip 2009 Best”
i just went in to the site, and apparently if i have your email i can invite you to share the album. i’ll be hanging around for a bit if you want to do it that way. i know you don’t want to leave email addresses hanging around in public and i don’t blame you for hold ing an attitude i agree with.
Cleo i’m on face book as well if you don’t mind that. i’m a friend of Terry’s on there if that helps. are there any photo sharing sites you access with an IMac? (as you may have guessed, i’m not the most computer literate person in the Solar System.)
when i get around to posting my shots of my 2008 trip through Northern Ontario, the Prairies, and the Rockies, it will probably be at least 70 or more. (i forget how many are on my face book page.)
a few more from the 5th floor of the Art Museum that show the Cornell Campus and some of the art works, and a few more of Buttermilk Falls and Taughannock Falls that all pretty much look the same (more or less) as what’s posted. plus a bunch more of gliders in the National Soaring Museum in Harris Hill outside of Elmira. I also have a couple of ‘road shots’ that don’t show a whole lot but i was driving towards Horseheads in the rain while the sun was shining and tried to capture the effect.
i was looking for the covered bridge at Newfield and couldn’t find it at first. the shot is where the main street meets Rte 13 again on the edge of town, and i cropped it a little to lose the road signs which encraoched on either side.
the stained glass windows and the chapel were in Auburn, just a bit up the street from the hotel where i stayed. design is all Louis Comfort Tiffany (as in the son of the NYC jewellery store maven) and the only one of it’s kind.
you sound like my old high school buddy. he claims to do the same. his last two posts that i’ve seen were a friend request to me, and a friend link up to someone else. if you want to check out my face book page, you can ask Terry for my email (if you have his, i just realized i might be making an unwarranted assumption that the tribal elders have each others emails).
i’ll be around for another half hour or so, (it seems to be catch up day for me). if you want my real name to link up via face book, ask via comment here and i will provide it.
i have two. a digital ‘snapshot’ type camera which i got gratis (7.2 megapixel, 3 X optical zoom - which is equal to about a 35mm to 50mm zoom lens in my experience with it) and a film SLR (Canon EOS Elan 7) with two zoom lenses - 28mm to 90mm and 100mm to 300mm. good for whatever i want to shoot, so far.
Dry i don’t mind. i just finished emailing Terry to let him know i don’t mind him passing my email to Tribe folks who ask, and that Cleo was going to be asking. apparently Picasa doesn’t work on his computer so it will need to be face book for him. now i better make sure thase photos are on there (i’m pretty sure they are).
cleo i have posted DC photos on my face book page for your enjoyment. they’re taken on the Mall and on Pennsylvania Ave. between White House and Capitol.
Helloooo, helloooo, anyone in the Big Top but me. Hey you know, since we are in the Big Top, I am glad that we didn’t come up with a collective name of the Clowns, but it may have fit.
yyy - I wasn’t pointing fingers with the mid-50s comment but I definitely relate to the cloudy part. And my thank you to Dry was referring to “Brandi.” I didn’t recognize your other reference so am off to search…
Very cool avatar, Carmy. Also, I owe you and others - who know who you are -
Howdy johnnyd, dcguys & Carmy - It has been a slow Saturday around the Big Top. Wiley has been raising a ruckus around Non Sequitur today. I am glad that he does. I am getting to the point that I do not read the comments at certain comics because I am trying to escape the realities of this world.
Hi ya cleo. You didn’t get hailed on while biking did you? I may have missed an update but the last I remember reading was about some hail last night. Let me also just say thank you - - - cuz that’s the closest I come to exercise after all the virtual victuals under the Big Top.
You are welcome dcguys. johnnyd- I swear some people can make a political reference to absolutely everything. I could say the sky is blue and they would respond that it represents the negativity hanging over us because of the blue state democrats. Sheesh.
Thanks for the tune dcguys! That was a good one. I saw the Carpenters way back in the super 70’s.
cleo, I’ve stopped reading a lot of comments due to the negative posts. I still read comics though.
Hello Carmy - How is life down in nice warm Florida? It got to a high of 41 here today. Yes, I love Doonesbury, but do not read the comments much anymore. It is not worth it. The thing is, you are never going to change somebody’s opinion so why try, when you aren’t even in the same room with them.
trust me i did not just get up and as for doc and Dry what time was it when you were making all that noise, could you both be the reason the dogs were barking alot? my father walked in the house at 11am after running errons and said in a mean mean voice “DON’T YOU THINK ITS TIME TO GET UP KIDO’S!?” so we had to get up. sucks. i got up washed his truck and trailer and “my” car played with ana had my Godchild and unborn Godchild and buddy here for a while. good day with them but the washing was no fun at all
Hi Cleo, we’re at about 67 right now with a tomorrow high about 78. I agree with you, don’t bother trying to change someone’s opinion here. I learned that the hard way!
back again, briefly, after checking out yesterday’s comments to find the link to the song Dry left (Brandy, by Looking Glass) and then spending two hours lost in you tube clips of oldies but goodies like Gordon Lightfoot, ELO, and the Stampeders to name just a few. Great fun, but now the hockey game starts in 5 minutes and i still haven’t made any supper! My own fault, and i know it (so no raspberries, please). I did a quick listen to the Carpenters link, too. I’ve always loved Karen’s voice, the world lost her way too soon.
Tabby, Yesterday I had a doctor appt and it was across town. I left my house a little after 9am and got home about noon. I did make 2 quick stops after the doctor appt. I got busy here in the house and after dinner i went to bed. It was about 8pm and I slept until around 9:30 this morning.
I have some antibiotics to take 4 times a day on an empty stomach. That’s going to be hard to figure out, LOL!
Cleo, a nude man on my porch? You’ll blend right in dude! LOLS!!!
yyyguy, that happens to me when I get on youtube also.
I hope you have a good evening and that you team wins!
CARMY (((((((((HUGS))))))))) are you okay? i cant figure out how to take med on an empty stomach… i guess when you first wake up would be one time but the other 3 your on your own. Im glad you got some sleep you needed it more then i do.
Cleo my back hurts from washing the trucks and the weather changing makes all my sores form before, the bike wreck and the ankles hurt its cold one day and hot the next im in shorts and a muscle shirt today. blue jeans and a jacket and long sleeved shirt yesterday crazy. i need to be wraped in bubble wrap it would be so SO SO cool
Tabby, I’m okay sweetie. YOU need to take care of yourself girlie! Cleo, do you know where to get that bubble wrap for Tabby?Cleo, my porch is neither a “happening place” or by a nude beach. It’s actually on the side of the house. No one would even notice you unless they came to the side of the house. We enter our house from the garage. So, if you want to be unseen, use the porch. If you want to be seen, you can lay out on the driveway, hee hee hee!
Hey, when we lived in WA, we had a view of Mt Ranier from our front porch.
yyyguy I just noticed an earlier post of yours, I feel I need to correct a misconception. Terry (Lonewolf) is not an elder. The elders are Joy, me, JFri, Tabby, johnny, Carmy, Marg, Cleo, Akenta, doc, and at one time Rad and Owlsly. We were the original group who have been together a long while now and have found some new friends who have stayed and bcome part of our group, you included.
Thank you Carmy, I am hoping that is true. Looking back now though, I wish I’d have gone to Michigan State, they actually have a better program than Michigan… I would get killed there though, I could never root for them.
So Ana just fell down Three stairs and hit her right eye well above it on a brick and now has a black and blue eye. and a brused elbo. poor bab girl. Shes okay i had ice on it and held her and loved on her.
Cleo, that will be fine, my goal is to end up as a family practitioner, and I hope to use some connections of mine to secure a job back home in Grand Rapids in the not to distant future.
Hola Dry!Cleo, okay, now we have to figure out how to bubble wrap Tabby, BTW, Rainier was the first ship the hubby was on too.
Johnny, can’t you switch to MI State and pretend you don’t hate rooting for them?
No point now, Carmy, I am too far along. I might as well finish here. Going to MSU now would mean that the past three and a half years were a complete waste of time. That is just something I should have done, fortunately, grad school is only supposed to be two or three years.
Tribe thank you for the hugs and well wishes. Regretfully most of my jewelry was costume jewelry (I suspected so). $51. Sigh. Well, any little bit helps.
(((((((((((ANA)))))))))) It’s been said, but I’ll repeat it. Do not let her fall asleep. Also try to check her eyes, if one pupil is noticably larger than the other get thee to an ER pronto Hmmmm what else…oh yeah, disorientation as well as not being able to wake her up should she drift off to sleep are also good reasons to get thee to the ER.
Well, I have to go off. Got too much to do. I have arranged another delivery of Krispy Kreams around the time of changeover. At least imaginary donuts are affordable :-)
Alright dcguys how about a band that met and formed in my hometown at WWU. Also, friends of my wife’s daughter.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9JB2ETgatI#
Quaby i just checked her eyes thanks i didnt think about that. They are the normal size her eyes are so dark its hard to see. but they are fine and she is walking around all happy and playing she said “i have a headache dont touch it.” shes not acting like she is sleepy or dizzy she is acting normal thanks for the help. she had me worried big time that child is my life
**Dry- Yes, they are still a big ticket item. What I like about Death Cab For Cutie, is that they do not release a CD until it is good. The time between their last CD and current one made me think , one hit wonder, but that indeed wasn’t the case.
(((((((Quaby))))))) been there, done that. I’m praying for you and your family.
Have fun, Johnny!dcguys, they played “Rosemary” at the end of Shallow Hal.
Hola Dry and Doc!Tabby, I’m glad Ana is okay.
Yes Tabby, it is good that all is well. I did not even think to clue you in to possible problems, thank goodness their are people here that are more alert. than I.
DRY look on pg 4 she fell down some steps and hit her face on a brick. my poor baby. she cried i cried we all cried. i had a sore back b4 and i jumped out the shed about 3ft high and jared it. hurt bad but didnt notice it at first. then i scoped up a 40 something pound kid and handed her to her mom up the stairs ran up them and took her bc she was screeming for me insted. then i carried her into the house and put ice on her face. my poor thing. shes going to have a shiner tomorrow.
Tabby as long as she is okay, kids get shiners all the time! As a mother of two, I know! Eventually you learn the signs, and when you become a mom., you will already be partly trained. I wasn’t, but I learned!
I am getting to be realy freeken P i s s e d off with my fathers freeken s h i t i am about d a m n tired of this i mean it. i am about to scream. this is major s h i t i sware
forgive me for cursing i am at my wits end here now.
i am about to get off of here and get this bleeep done and go to bed i cant get anything to respond nothing wants to open or close or move or do anything trying to print out pics for dads business guess what it wont move its beng so stupid its not even funny grr
That said…breathe, girl, breathe! You’re above all of that!
Thanks for the vid Doc! Good stuff, as always!
I seem to remember someone committing on one of my early visits under the Big Top that they enjoy instrumental music?!? How’s this? It played almost every weekend through my teen years. My parents both really enjoyed listening to a stack of LPs while we all talked about our day, did homework, ate dinner, and just generally enjoyed each other’s company.
thanks guys, MoPar i would love for you to come deal with HIM. Carmy you telling me i was so mad i could think straight went take a shower and it helped some, Dry i listen to you all. Dcguys hi thanks all
My father has been ticking me off all day, well week. I aksed to go house sit for a week, thanksgiving week and come home for supper every night and go back there it is 8 mins away. i will be with many dogs and two cats all dogs are big black labs and golden retrievers. He has not given me an answer this was wend. (i think) he walked in the other day and as soon as he walked in the door he started yelling and fussing and curssing at my brother and myself. been doing that every day now, and im tired of it. i have too much hw to be able to do everything around this dang gum house. today i told him last night that my friend and my godchild was coming visit i have not seen them in a while, well she calls when they are on the way and dad tells me “well you and your brother are to wash my truck and trailer today” not can u are will u, but u will thats c r a p. so while they were here i spent most of the time washing the truck and trailer. well they left i get fussed at for not putting HIS coffee on he comes out side and says “Tabby, well Kiss my A* too” then he goes back in the shop. later on Ana falls out of the shop with HIM, her Mom and me in there he turns to me when we get her off the groud (when i say we i mean I) and says to me “why the F weren’t holding her F*ing Hand!” well she ran out i could do nothing. then later on my walking buddy called and i get up and go to my room because i would like to talk to here and tell her what happend with ana and i like to not have him in my convo. well i come back up front when im done and he yells at me about it. so i was just done there. well he starts fussing saying that the computer is for the business not for our personal use. so if i dont get the pictures printed out i was not allowed on the computer anymore. and he fusses about the hall and how it has bags of clothes i got from a friend in the hall and how the house is not up to HIS standards and this and that. well i have had one heck of a bad week and this day has pushed it over the end and thats why i curse and went crazy. will be repenting later on. sorry about blowing up. love you all
Dry…in fact we did, It’s a lovely, well manicured, over-priced string of eating and drinking establishments arranged in more-or-less a circle centered on a bit of brackish water that smells bad. Worth the effort, all-in-all.
Tabby - You need a break sweetie. I really wish that the Tribe could help you out, but we can not. i think that you have got to just concentrate on doing what you can, being a positive individual and rolling with the situations at hand. Man, i wish that I could give you better advice, but I can’t. For the time being you just have to roll with the punches.
If you choose to make the trip, I recommend centering your day on Dick’s Last Resort, where the wait-staff are annoying and irreverent, and taking a trip to Casbeer’s Church.
Hy I hear it’s a tourist trap, but the pictures look lovely, and I have been around enough to know the tourist trap businesses, but all in all, it looks like a lovely area to just be in and walk through. Of course, I would have to buy ONE souvenir from there just because! :-)
Cleo You say you wish you could help, you all do. The tribe is my family that i love and WANT to be around. you guys always know what to say at the right time. Thank you for loving me and letting me a part of this family. it means alot to me
Terry left a message on birdbrains for you, well Thom agreeing with you check it out.
Tabby - I think that you just have to not cross him. Do what you need to do to get him to leave you alone. I think that you probably have this process down by now, out of necessity. I really wish that I could give you a solution that would make your life easier, but as long as you are at home you have to pretty much follow the game plan. I am sorry sweetie.
A tourist trap of the highest order, frankly. I’m a cynical old bastard, but they got my money, and loads of it. We met a waiter at Dick’s,and he had a table of old people, aged sixty-seventy. He asked them if they knew the difference between jam and jelly…they didn’t. He said “well, I can’t JELLY my d1ck up your a$$”…a pause of about three seconds while the shock settled in…and they all laughed uproariously.
I knew I’d found a home away from home. He turned us on to some good out-of-the-way restaurants and some good local music…so I’d have to say it was worth the trip.
MoPar my best friend walking buddy i tell everything to, when i get to see her. she lives next door but he is trying to keep us apart. he scares all my friends off. But walking buddy only tries to keep me out of trouble she is still here for me anytime i need her. she loves me shes like a mom to me. he told me also today that he dosent like how she looks at him when he talks to her, i thought to myself yea because she is always wondering and telling me, “how can a butt like him have such a wonderful daughter and not know it?” i wonder some times also. its just crazy.
Tabby yes I have! And at least you should be able to move into a dorm room. Honey, you need to do this. You need to spread your wings a bit, you are old enough now. REMEMBER what we’ve told you, your Tribal moms! Love you girl!
DRY i new that would get you talking to me. I just found out that i have a pell grant and im getting money from them for room and board and travel exp. and books. whats with that? why did i not know that? im going to talk to walking buddy and have her look over the paper work and see if im right if so, im going to have to see about it. want to get this job of house sitting to see how it goes. i need this chance. i need to know if i can live on my own.
I am glad that you have walking buddy. As I see it, you need to placate your dad and live your life without crossing him. You are soon going to be at that age when you will be on your own. It , to me, sounds like you know what you need to do to get by. Just know, we, the TRIBE, love you, always know that you can talk to us. Unfortunately, we can only listen and are not able to step in and talk to your dad.
Thanks guys. Cleo i know what you mean i wish sometimes you all could step in as the tribe and show him not to mess with your youngest. lol it would be scary for him. :D
Terry
could be bc i brought in the fire. lol thanks buddy. im taking it easy i feel better now hes gone to bed and i have had a shower and ICE CREAM!
I won against a very good player. He didn’t play as well as I have seen him play but today I don’t think it would have made a difference. When I got there I was not feeling well and by the time my match came up I was worse. The good thing about it is when I am feeling sick, I always shoot better. I think I concentrate more. Anyhoo I won!
Hymenoxis Sorry I wasn’t around to catch your reply to me. It’s good to see you back. We missed you.
cleo, behave yourself. Hymenoxisis is gracious enough to clean up after us, you don’t need to berate him for some dust behind the door. I’ll bet you put it there!

Hi Hymenoxis!
Sorry guys, I wandered off to read my emails and now….
tabbylynn about 15 years ago
Okay so MoPar and others
My father has been ticking me off all day, well week. I aksed to go house sit for a week, thanksgiving week and come home for supper every night and go back there it is 8 mins away. i will be with many dogs and two cats all dogs are big black labs and golden retrievers. He has not given me an answer this was wend. (i think) he walked in the other day and as soon as he walked in the door he started yelling and fussing and curssing at my brother and myself. been doing that every day now, and im tired of it. i have too much hw to be able to do everything around this dang gum house. today i told him last night that my friend and my godchild was coming visit i have not seen them in a while, well she calls when they are on the way and dad tells me “well you and your brother are to wash my truck and trailer today” not can u are will u, but u will thats c r a p. so while they were here i spent most of the time washing the truck and trailer. well they left i get fussed at for not putting HIS coffee on he comes out side and says “Tabby, well Kiss my A* too” then he goes back in the shop. later on Ana falls out of the shop with HIM, her Mom and me in there he turns to me when we get her off the groud (when i say we i mean I) and says to me “why the F weren’t holding her F*ing Hand!” well she ran out i could do nothing. then later on my walking buddy called and i get up and go to my room because i would like to talk to here and tell her what happend with ana and i like to not have him in my convo. well i come back up front when im done and he yells at me about it. so i was just done there. well he starts fussing saying that the computer is for the business not for our personal use. so if i dont get the pictures printed out i was not allowed on the computer anymore. and he fusses about the hall and how it has bags of clothes i got from a friend in the hall and how the house is not up to HIS standards and this and that. well i have had one heck of a bad week and this day has pushed it over the end and thats why i curse and went crazy. will be repenting later on. sorry about blowing up. love you all

cleokaya about 15 years ago
hymenoxis - Where have you been man, this place has become a pig sty in your absence. By the way, there is dust behind the door.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
Hy, did you do the Riverwalk? Is it as nice as it looks?
hymenoxis about 15 years ago
Dry…in fact we did, It’s a lovely, well manicured, over-priced string of eating and drinking establishments arranged in more-or-less a circle centered on a bit of brackish water that smells bad. Worth the effort, all-in-all.
cleokaya about 15 years ago
Tabby - You need a break sweetie. I really wish that the Tribe could help you out, but we can not. i think that you have got to just concentrate on doing what you can, being a positive individual and rolling with the situations at hand. Man, i wish that I could give you better advice, but I can’t. For the time being you just have to roll with the punches.
hymenoxis about 15 years ago
If you choose to make the trip, I recommend centering your day on Dick’s Last Resort, where the wait-staff are annoying and irreverent, and taking a trip to Casbeer’s Church.
hymenoxis about 15 years ago
Cleo…well said.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
Hy I hear it’s a tourist trap, but the pictures look lovely, and I have been around enough to know the tourist trap businesses, but all in all, it looks like a lovely area to just be in and walk through. Of course, I would have to buy ONE souvenir from there just because! :-)
tabbylynn about 15 years ago
Cleo You say you wish you could help, you all do. The tribe is my family that i love and WANT to be around. you guys always know what to say at the right time. Thank you for loving me and letting me a part of this family. it means alot to me
Terry left a message on birdbrains for you, well Thom agreeing with you check it out.
cleokaya about 15 years ago
Tabby - I think that you just have to not cross him. Do what you need to do to get him to leave you alone. I think that you probably have this process down by now, out of necessity. I really wish that I could give you a solution that would make your life easier, but as long as you are at home you have to pretty much follow the game plan. I am sorry sweetie.
tabbylynn about 15 years ago
i am thinking about finding a way to get an apartment or something next sem. DRY i know i know you have been telling me to do this. :oP
hymenoxis about 15 years ago
Dry-
A tourist trap of the highest order, frankly.
He turned us on to some good out-of-the-way restaurants and some good local music…so I’d have to say it was worth the trip.
tabbylynn about 15 years ago
MoPar my best friend walking buddy i tell everything to, when i get to see her. she lives next door but he is trying to keep us apart. he scares all my friends off. But walking buddy only tries to keep me out of trouble she is still here for me anytime i need her. she loves me shes like a mom to me. he told me also today that he dosent like how she looks at him when he talks to her, i thought to myself yea because she is always wondering and telling me, “how can a butt like him have such a wonderful daughter and not know it?” i wonder some times also. its just crazy.
thanks it helps to talk about it.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
Tabby yes I have! And at least you should be able to move into a dorm room. Honey, you need to do this. You need to spread your wings a bit, you are old enough now. REMEMBER what we’ve told you, your Tribal moms! Love you girl!

DRY i new that would get you talking to me. I just found out that i have a pell grant and im getting money from them for room and board and travel exp. and books. whats with that? why did i not know that? im going to talk to walking buddy and have her look over the paper work and see if im right if so, im going to have to see about it. want to get this job of house sitting to see how it goes. i need this chance. i need to know if i can live on my own.
tabbylynn about 15 years ago
Thanks Mopar
(((((MoPar))))) i do belive you have earned the place of another “tribe dad” of mine. :0)
cleokaya about 15 years ago
I am glad that you have walking buddy. As I see it, you need to placate your dad and live your life without crossing him. You are soon going to be at that age when you will be on your own. It , to me, sounds like you know what you need to do to get by. Just know, we, the TRIBE, love you, always know that you can talk to us. Unfortunately, we can only listen and are not able to step in and talk to your dad.

I won against a very good player. He didn’t play as well as I have seen him play but today I don’t think it would have made a difference. When I got there I was not feeling well and by the time my match came up I was worse. The good thing about it is when I am feeling sick, I always shoot better. I think I concentrate more. Anyhoo I won!
tabbylynn about 15 years ago
